Originally from Western New York State, Don Holtz received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Syracuse University, where he studied design and art history in Florence Italy. After moving to Los Angeles in 1987, Don spent the early part of his career gaining a broad base of project experience, including extensive work on projects for the Media and Entertainment Industry. He has designed Sound Stages, Editing and Technical Facilities, and Screening Rooms for Technicolor, Warner Brothers, Fox Studios, Miramax, and numerous independent Production Companies. His employment experience includes time at Gensler and HLW.
HOLTZ ARCHITECTURE offers a full scope of architectural services, from schematic design through construction administration, as well as, pre-design, programming and feasibility studies. Other services include management and coordination of all consulting engineers on both commercial and residential projects, and Permit/Entitlement management.
As principal of HOLTZ ARCHITECTURE, Don works directly with clients to ensure project viability and cost effectiveness through the entire design and construction process.
A licensed Architect in California for over 30 years, he is also licensed to practice in Nevada and is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the American Institute of Architects.
